    Hi,

I have a VAIO VGN-FW11E that has a logo of FULL HD 1080 stuck on its key board and I checked that its max resolution supported by its ATI mobility radeod "HD" 3400 graphics card for its built in display is only 1600x900? How is that then??

    Comments will be greaty appreciated.

    Best regards

The sticker is kind of misleading. The point of the sticker is to inform you that it is capable of outputting 1080p signal over HDMI, it doesn't mean the screen's resolution is 1080p. Of course later FW models came with the option of 1080p screens.
