I don't know the difference but I would personally Never buy an expensive laptop from BB unless it was ON CLEARANCE as their return policy is just about the worst.

The hybrid graphics is where you can switch the graphics of the laptop between Intel integrated graphics to Nvidia Geforce 9300M GS graphics with the flick of a switch on the notebook.

The Intel graphics are worse in performance than the Nvidia graphics but are more energy efficient, will give you more battery life. So you can switch between both graphics when you need more battery life or more graphics performance depending on your situation.

The Z520N/B is the lowest end retail model offered in the USA. The other models like Z550N/B, Z570N/B, etc. are superior in specifications. For instance, they have faster processors, larger hard drives, etc.

I really would not recommend buying that Z520 from Bestbuy for $1999 when you can get better Z models especially for cheaper from other retailers.

Microcenter.com for instance has the Z530 for $1799 and is a reputable store with some physical locations around the U.S, they have one in Houston where I am from.

Amazon is also offering some Z models better than the Z520 and for a lower price than BestBuy.

SonyStyle also is selling the Z540 for the same price as BestBuy's Z520 with a faster processor (2.40 vs 2.26) and hard drive (320gb vs 250gb)

The only difference between any Z and the Z590's are the screen - the 590 has the 1600 x 900, while the others have the 1366 x 768.

The notebook is the same across all lines and, like was mentioned, the difference between them is specs (i.e. cpu, ram, hdd, bd, etc...)

Keep in mind that the 540 and 590 are assembled in San Diego. If you want one assembled in Japan, then get the others.

Actually i would be getting it at Conn's or Bestbuy because of a credit deal(i can't really afford to fork over $2000+ right now). So im not looking at worse Battery life, just the processor and harddrive size? 250gb is even way too much for me, the P8400 is just fine, the 1366*768 is good for a 13.1 laptop.
