    Increasing VRAM on a TZ?

    I know it isn't possible to increase VRAM physically but is there anyway to increase the shared VRAM on a TZ? I know other notebooks and integrated videocards allow for more memory through bios, but i cant seem to find the setting.

    not possible mate! If it were it would be in the BIOS, but sony limit what you can change in the BIOS!

    AFAIK, it will automatically take from your free system RAM up to the max that Sony has specified (will be in the specs section of most sties that sell the laptop)

    It it is possible but with a BIOS fix.

    Back a year ago. My TXN17 had a 128MB memory by default and with a bios upgrade it dropped to 64mb. The update was dubbed as a 'vista fix'

    I am sure it can be done the other way around.

    Can a regular user do it... most likely no.
