    Hi
I bought sony laptop in december '08 and when i called sony they said i can only purchase their extended service plan only within 30days of purchase date. so i am wondering if there are any good extended warranty options other than sony.
    Thanks,
    Mahesh

I thought it used to be you can buy the extended warranty as long as you have at least a month left on your standard warranty for your laptop... Seems like they must have just changed their rule very recently....
