    Hi anyone out there can tell me if its worth it to buy sony vaio s660b ? I can get a very good deal on for 1400$ canadian dollars, should i buy it or....?
    I couldnt find any reviews on this laptop.

    don't know about that vaio (and couldn't find a review either) .. but I'm spending $1258 on a 17" dell, T2500 dual core 2.0ghz, 1gig 667 mhz ddr2 ram, 100gig 7200rpm hdd, geforce 7900 gs video card... you tell me, if yours is a good buy :)

    The S660 is based on the older S-Series with the single core Centrino. I've been using this type of laptop for a lmost a year now and no major problems have occured. You won't find any reviews because Sony rather unofficially released this notebook. Search for reviews of the S560 or S580, its basically the same laptop just with different specs.

    Can you post the exact specifications of the S660? It really depends what components are installed if it's a good deal or not.

    @teamkillahilla - sounds like a good deal, but it's not a comparable laptop to the S660, it's a totally different class. You will always pay more for a smaller and lighter laptop than for a desktop replacement one.
