I have a multi-license Windows Vista Ultimate that I'm thinking of installing on my TZ170n/b instead of the business version that it comes with, but I'm concerned about not having some of the utilities.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get, say, the fingerprint software/drivers and the wwan drivers and the smartwi program to manage it any other way?

update: check that, found maximus' link to the fingerprint software, but i'm still worried about smartwi and the wwan support. any help there?

Why would you want to put ultimate on it? Business does nearly all except the media centre and the bitlocker. All the rest can be "activated" via Control Panel->Programs->Turn Windows features on or off.

Also - you may want to get rid of most of the crapware - ie a clean install - I installed ultimate on my TZ130 - I can tell you getting all of the Sony Utilities working is a challenge.

The TZ130 does not have WWAN, it has WLAN. Just Wi-Fi.
