I'm sending my laptop (s360) in to Sony for service (see Fn & CTRL keys don't work thread). The only thing I did after I bought it was to install Windows XP Prof and delete the recovery partition. Should I run the recovery wizard and restore everything to its factory defaults before sending it in for service?

    Thanks

No, but I'd pull the HDD drive. I would absolutely never send the HDD in with any repair.

So that they cannot do anything that may damage your data, or worse, steal your data. It is a good pre-caution, but not everyone knows how to pull a HDD out anyway.
