This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Installing Vista on SZ340 without Vista Companion DVD?

    I seems that Sony no longer offers the Vista Companion DVD for the model to allow the user to easily upgrade to Vista.

    I see lots of Vista drivers for the SZ340 on the eSupport page. If I download them and install Vista, will everything work fine (e.g., Fn key functionalties such as brightness and volume adjustments, etc.)? Thanks.
