    Hello All,

Just wondered if anybody can offer me any help or advise????

I have a sony vaio PCG-K115M (I know its a dinosaur) but still works ok for me...

The problem I have is that I have bought "windows XP Pro"(Not from sony) and wanted to install it on a
    new 120 gig hard-drive,

Its starts off ok and when it gets to press F8 to except the license agreement and continue mine does not let me do this no matter what I do nothing happens,

Is there some protection that sony has put in place to stop you doing this??? ( I can use the recovery cd no problem)

when I use the windows home recovery cd which I got with the laptop,It does not ask you to pres F8 to except the license agreement,

    Is there anyway round this,

    Thanks

    Tam
