    Hi every guru's

As you know Sony Vaio FS 550 series notebooks are comes with installed XP Home Edition and Vaio's control and entertaintment programs. As you know Home edition has to restricted options. So I installed a xp professional to my vaio notebook.I downloaded the drivers and other softwares on the vaio-link site.( http://esupport.sony.com/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNFS550&UpdateType=Everything)
I installed all drivers and software on the site. But I cannot use FN buttons. There is no vaio services on the run -> services.msc
I try to use recovery cds and do application recovery I choose lots of application but till I cannot use FN keys to volume up/down and Brightness up/down.

How can I find softwares that I need.

    Best Regards,

Please read the S460 clean install guide on the top of the page and follow the procedure. It clearly shows what software you need to install, in the right order, to get your laptop working.

Now I can use FN buttons with New installed XP professional. I use recovery dvds to install the programs. Use application recovery and then choose which writing "Sony" ones.
