Hi guys. This is my situation - I have a Vaio Z1 with a 192 SSD (128x2, 64x1). The 64 GB SSD is broken (data is constantly corrupted) but still functioning. I just got a new 128 GB SSD in the mail to replace the 64 GB one (meaning my 192 GB SSD will now be 256 GBs). I have already used Hiren's BootCD to image/backup my C: drive and all my files. So, here is what I want to know:

    1. I want to make sure I grabbed the Vaio Recovery Center when I imaged the laptop (the program where you can restore Windows). How do I make sure I got it when I imaged the laptop? I thought the recovery partition was in its own, well, partition, but none of the backup programs on Hiren's CD would show it. Is it part of the C: drive?

    2. After I open up my laptop and physically swap the 64 GB SSD for the new 128 GB one, how do I install it? Like, do I have to reinstall the RAID? Do I format both of them? If so, how do I do that? What exactly is the procedure for this "operation?" :p And after I do this, I can restore my image of my system no problem, right? A new SSD isn't going to prevent that or anything, right?

    Thanks guys!
