    Installing windows on Vaio Z

    I got a VAIO Z11XN/B with his windows vista, and when i try to boot from an XP CD, i only got a black screen and the windows setup is not starting. What can i do? I already tried with two diffrent versions of XP. :(

    You probaly need a XP CD with SATA drivers already included or you need to slipstream them.

    Search for slipstream in this forum and you'll find more info.

    No, sata drivers are needed after setup begins, i got an extrnal floppy with sata drivers, but my windows setup dosen't start :(
