My S13P came with a 6235 wifi half height mini PCI. I was looking to install a 6300 and realised that my S13P does not have a 3rd coax cable that leads to an antenna.

    Any ideas?

Just plug in the two antennas you do have. It will be fine. The third is mostly for extra signal strength. But to be honest, I don't find the current antenna lacking in that regard.

I tried the 6300 and even bought additional antennas to get the full 450mbps (with 2 antennas connected, it only negotiates at 300mbps). The difference is marginal, I get about 10% more transfer speeds on average. Moving a large incompressible 1GB file from my NAS shows about 20-24MBps compared to 19-20MBps previously. It doesn't make sense for me to lose Bluetooth just to get that small increment. I should be putting the old card back and sell this one.

So that is at best a 20% increase, depending on different factors. Is there no alternative that does have bluetooth?
It seems strange that a half-height card has more features than a full-size one.

Out of curiosity, I bought the Bigfoot Killer-N 1202. It's a true 2x2 with Bluetooth. I know there are reports of poor performance, drivers and such, but I'm just curious. I will feedback again once I get to try it.

Tested the Bigfoot Killer 1202 card. It has overall faster transfers compared to the Intel 6300 even though it's just a 2x2, but poorer range especially at those hard to reach corners. The killer card is a keeper then, time to sell off the 6300 and antennas on ebay! :)
