When using the Nvidia graphics card (performance mode), my external LCD connected to my docking station via DVI is recognized properly.

However, when I'm using stamina mode with the built-in Intel Graphic card, the monitor is NOT detected. Doing an Fn+F5 key combination, only the notbook's LCD is shown.

Anyone have this issue? I have no idea what's going on...

You can use your SZ + docking station + DVI in SPEED mode only. It doesn't work in Stamina mode. Check your SZ manual.

    Sorry, inline was faster

I think it's more of a limitation of the Intel card, vs. Sony's problem, but I'm not sure.

Plus if you are on your dock, and therefore receiving external power, why would you ever ever run it in stamina mode? Just a question, and I truly would like to know a reason for running the SZ on stamina mode, when you are plugged in to wall power.

I am not the original poster but I use my SZ docked in Stamina all the time. I work outside the office and leave my machine in Stamina (while on Battery). Since I use the "hibernate" feature to power down often I will pull the laptop out of my bag and slap it on the dock and hit the power button bringing it out of "hibernate". I guess I could reboot but by the time I am completely rebooted in speed mode I might have lost all the benifit.
