    Hi All,

Can someone with a little bit more technical knowledge than myself please let me know how I can get the Intel WIDI Technology working on the Vaio Z13?

The computer has all the right hardware components after all.

I installed the WIDI software and latest Intel wireless drivers but I cannot get the Inell Wireless Display program to load, it gives me the error: "Unable to load the Intel My WIFI technology DLL file".

    Thanks,

As far as I know it's not possible to install widi yourself even if it has all the hardware, it can be only be installed if it's marketed as a widi-compatible computer

I get Widi on my VPCZ13 installed and it worked perfect with Netgear Push2TV PVT1000 , but for this I installed a clean Win7.
With the factory oem install that came with the Z13 widi and also my wifi
won't recognize the intel wlan card (AGN6200).
The message was "no compatible Hardware found".
I think Sony is blocking widi by settings in registry which I have not found, so I did a clean install to get this working.
I did this only for testing WIDI, after that i went back to the OEM install, because the oem install runs a bit smoother, notably the internet explorer.

hi.. would you mind sharing the files and procedures on how did you make work? i was able to install the intel wireless display in my z11 and i can detect the netgear push2tv but when i'm trying to establish a connection, it always disconnects. i've tried different versions of the intel wireless display software but still i cannot get it to work.

    i have a clean win7 also in my z11..

    TIA!

^I'm sure you have addressed this already, but you are running in stamina (intel) graphics mode right?

Hmm this is good to know. You probably have to get the intel 6200 driver for intel, and not from Sony

widi on VPCZ1 is working only with original intel graphics driver (without nvidia), so switching to nvidia is not possible this way.
