    Intel(R) Pro wireless 4965 issue

    I just recently reinstalled Vista on my VGN-SZ650n/c. The issue now is that when I go to make changes to the network adaptor they wont keep. When I reboot, the settings revert back to what they were befor I made changes. Any suggestions?

    Are you on an administrator account?

    Have you tried using the latest drivers from the Intel driver page?

    The settings you set might not be supported. What settings did you change?

    I am the administrator.

    I tried to the new Drivers no help. I changed the wireless mode so that i can connect to my n network weird thing is it worked before reinstalling. I just for got the settings

    The issue to close this thread is that the smart network program that sony uses blocked my changes. I had to enable 2.4 and 5ghz in this program for my changes in device manager to stick
