    Hello there,

I just recently changed the thermal compound for the cpu and gpu of my laptop and when I opened the laptop it read "IntelR Me ignition firmware will boot from the factory default image". My laptop runs fine but I can't use the internet. When i checked the services everything was disabled, even though i never manually changed any of the service settings. I also couldn't boot the bios as it did not have the option in the advanced boot menu. I don't know what has happened, I was very careful whilst dissambling and assembling the laptop - I am also experienced with this as I have done this many a times before. What could possibly be the issue? Would formatting solve it for once and all?

    I own a Sony VIAO VPCF13M1E

Thank you in advance and hope to hear a solution soon :)
