I had my 13.3" Vaio running with full CPU usage and when I picked it up and held it sideways, the CPU temperatures skyrocketed! If I had it so that the side exhaust was facing down, temperatures climbed very fast in to the 90ºC range! Now, I know that heat rises, so when I had the vent facing up, to "assist" it, it still was very high in the 80ºC range. Usually, when it's under full load the temps hover only around 70ºC. Heh, is this some sort of wierd cooling issue flaw? I thought that even with the fan running, that the position it is in shouldn't matter all that much. Anyone else experience this as well?
