This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Internal wireless - PCG-V505BCP

    I have a Sony Vaio PCG-V505BCP that DID NOT come with the factory installed internal Intel wireless card. I've come across a Broadcom WL-352GH (BCM94306MPSG) that I would like to install if this non factory installed wireless laptop has the mini-PCI "slot". I don't want to dissect this thing until I know if there is a chance that it shares the mini-PCI "slot" that it's brother model has. I can't imagine that Sony would use different motherboards on these similar models.

    Any insight on the issue would be appreciated!
