I am in Spain with a VGN-TZ150N/B where they use 220v power, and I have a power adapter that changes between 50w and 1600w.
I know very little about power wattage, volts, etc., but I see in the TZ150 specifications that it´s power requirement is 68W+10%. If I use this adapter at 50W, can it harm my computer?? Or should I just play it safe and not try to charge my computer here?
The adapter says it will work with notebook computers, but that might really mean that it only works with "some" notebook comupters, so I am a little scared to use it.
Thanks!

Is your normal power adaptor mislaid or dead? If you have your TZ's power adaptor then it will work fine with 220V (see lebel on bottom). All you need is either an adaptor for the mains plug or a news mains power cord.
The TZ's power requirement is quite low. 50W should be enough. However, you need to check that the voltage (16V?) and the polarity of the plug (centre positive?) are correct. There are multi-voltage universal notebook power supplies, but they normally only go up to 90W or 120W.

All modern laptops come with power supplies that work across all voltage (usually 110v to 240v). You just need to find the right plug adapter.
