    My last question about the FS series for now ; )

    I need International warranty because I'm working in Sao Paulo most of the year. They have Sony there but do not sell any laptops and I prefer to buy a laptop in Europe anyway because most laptops are 2-3 times more expensive in Brazil. Cheap fruit compensates for that of course ; ).

    Does anyone know if the FS series have standard International warranty or the possibility of a upgrade that covers all continents?

    Called customer support, that Sony site gives me a headache. The guy had to check three times before he could give me an answer. For anyone who's interested. It's not possible, there is an International warranty option but Brazil is not included. You have to check if your country is big enough to be included. Oh well.

    You can always get a Mack Extended Warranty (international). It's 3 years for only $100. A lot cheaper than Dell, HP, or any other warranties. Here's the link: http://www.mackcam.com/warranties/3yearintcomputer.html

    I bought a laptop, didnt like it, so I gave it to my little sister- she has 3 solid years to destroy it. :D
