Ok so I have a Vaio Laptop vgn-fe770g running windows vista and the internet connection drops at random times.

I try to repair the connection but that doesnt work. I can still connect to my router just not surf the web. I have tried disabling the connection or the driver in system properties then re-enabling them, but that doesn't work.

The only thing I can do is restart the laptop, thats the only thing that fixes the problem. Not a huge deal, but once a day is a bit annoying. my other laptop runs flawlessly. It has to be a driver of some sort, but I cant quote figure out what to download from the sony site.

Does anyone have similar experiences or know the exact fix for this problem?

    Thanks!

Public or private network? There's a registry tweak that might help.
