My friend's got an SZ that occasionally with have the touchpad become inverted. It's weird though because it seems to be random. If it helps, she has it linked to an external monitor and usesa bluetooth Kensington mouse. No idea what is happening with the touchpad and we've tried looking through My Computer for a solution to no avail.
Thanks for an insight!

Anyone?
Bump >_< -
Try using a different touchpad driver. This is currently the best one that adds touch sensitivity adjustment.

Same thing happened to my SZ260. Inconsistent inverting of touchpad. Ended up calling the tech support and changing the touchpad. Everything worked afterward.

Can anyone help I am using a SZ240P and my touchpad does the same thing?
Does that mean I have to send it back to Sont to replace the touchpad??
I have tried everything like using other drivers, but no luck.
It just started suddenly.I'm here now doing a reinstallation, like I have done before.
Helo, might try to update the Bioa and see if that helps. -
Yup same thing over here. Spoke to Sony engineer and they said most of the time its hardware fault. However dumbass call centre keeps asking if I have reset the bios and reinstall the operating system.
If you want a temporary fix just shutdown your apoint.exe and restart it. Most of the time it would fix the problem. It sounds like a software/driver issue but it is not. Cos I had this problem almost everyday until they swap the touchpad out.
