    It's for my Sony Z.
I'm looking for second adapter and sony sold out on small/compact the VGP-AC19V26.
Is the VGP-AC19V25 has the same power rating/features and size as the VGP-AC19V26?

V25 should be smaller than V26...it is the standard AC adapter for Z in several countries, so it is perfectly compatible with Z.

My Sony have not arrive yet, should be by end of this week.

Does the US version Z come with VGP-AC19V26 or VGP-AC19V25?

When i'm ordering online from Sony a few weeks ago, the options for additional adapters is VGP-AC19V26, but was out of stock.

So the VGP-AC19V25 is smaller then VGP-AC19V26??? If they are compatible, then i should buy VGP-AC19V25 because it's more compact !
    Correct?

Can someone give me dimension/size for the following adapter please. I can't even find on sony website.

    1) VGP-AC19V26
    2) VGP-AC19V25

Skyshade mention that the VGP-AC19V25 is smaller, but google search show it's the same size????? 49.5mm x 30.2mm x 121.5mm

    Here's the info on VGP-AC19V25:

I just got my Japanese Z90US and it has the AC19V25. The adapter appears to be the same size as the Z590UAB which I briefly owned. There are two key differences I can see.

    1. The tip is all metal with a thicker plastic housing before it, not the thinner nearly all plastic one on the AC19V26.
    2. For the cord, it uses the two input (you know what I mean) like the G and I assume T/TZ, not the three input on the base like the SZ and US Z.

    EDIT: Pics added

The "box" part of the adapter is pretty much the same, but V26 has three-prong (with ground) plug in the end so the cable part is a little bigger when wrapped for carrying...it's not night and day difference, but V25 is slightly smaller... :p

Anyhoo, you can just get a V25...

I have a Sony Stick AC 19.5 V adapter VGP-AC19V21 which works on the SZ Series. Is it also compatible with the new Z Series. Sony says no on their website. Why shouldnt it work?
