    Hi,

I am looking for a small and nice subnotebook. A long battery performance is important for me and it should be silent. I think the Sony sz series has all this. Therefore, I would like to buy the Sony sz691.
    My questions are:
Is this unit the Premium Model with the "Carbon Fiber Casing"?
Could someone tell me, if the sz691 model has the same chip set as the new sz7xx production run?
I looked on the sony stlye hompage and I wonder why the sz680 model is more expensive than the new sz780.

Do you think that the sz691 model is a good choice?

    Thanks a lot

The SZ691 is a Premium Model with carbon fiber casing. It is a very powerful notebook computer for a small 13.3 inch form factor, and should provide very good battery life.

However you might look at the new SZ7 series, which is out now, new for 2008.
