The main difference is the TZ has a glossy screen and the TT has a matte screen. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by crisper and sharper since both screens are exactly the same resolution and size. If you want colors that will jump out and you I feel like the TZ does a better job of that. The duraview coating is good but I don't feel like i get the same wow factor that I did with the HiColor coating. That being said the duraview has significantly less glare than the hicolor does. Why don't you go to the sony store and check them out.

I don't think the screen would be sharper and crisper since both use the same resolution and screen size and so have the same DPI (dots per inch). However, the TT is designed to show colors more accurately, its supposed to have a 100% NTSC color gamut, vs roughly 75% in the TZ and around 55% in the previous TX.

In addition to Rahul's post, the following is of importance to me: "The main difference is the TZ has a glossy screen and the TT has a matte screen." (Xotica's post.) As I, on the basis of some doubts, still prefer glossy screens, what do folks think the chances are for Sony making new models (of the TT footprint) with glossy screens?

And, BTW, the Vaio P: Has it a matte or glossy screen?
