well my fe38gp goes upto 65 centigrades of cpu temp when playing maxed out fifa 07....n hdd around 34 C...(probably 75% cpu load) is it normal??
when cpu load is pretty low then cpu temp comes down to early 50s..hdd remaining same

hope nothing is getting damaged inside and not that particularly my laptop has this problem...

Well, 65C for a laptop with a 7600 isn't bad by any means. My X1600 runs about around 75C w/ Oblivion! The HDD temps are excellent though!

However, if you are concerned with the temps...check out the Cooling Guide for tips.

k i'm relieved to hear that...another thing i have "notebook harware control" on my lappy....what i notice is that the CPU Voltage changes like every 15secs from (0.95V to 1.175V) and it remains at 1.175V for another 5-6 secs and during this time my CPU Temp shoots up to 60C (from 51C)...also my CPU load increases from 0% to 50%........

    why is it so??

Do you have it set to "Adaptive" ?
This would csuse it to go back and forth; saving energy when needed.

Yup...the CPU will change voltage and clock speed as needed to handle tasks. This is perfectly normal, and the temps will vary a little when this happens.
