Is it LCD, mobo, fuse, something else?

This is my first thread to the forum and I would like to say a big hello to all !!

    SONY Vaio VPCEB4E1E or
    p/n-model :pCG-71311M

The original screen was cracked. I bought another one to replace it. The problem is that both screens have no back light. Before I disconnect the cracked screen, if I switch on the notebook, the screen showed a proper image which you can see here:

    1.JPG

    3.JPG

Now, both screens, the original (cracked), and the new one, at the background show something in extremely silence. It's not that both screens are damaged. No way. Something else is wrong, in which I would like your help.

With the new screen connected, if you power on the laptop, in a silence background, you can see Windows start up logo, and that Windows works properly. But, all that you can see it in extremely dark.

And, if you have the cracked screen connected and power on laptop, Windows also start up and reach on desktop (you can hear start up Windows sound). This proves that laptop has no damage. Somewhere else is the problem.

But now, if you connect again the original (cracked) screen on the notebook, it is black (this silence black background). It does not show the light image that I saw you above. It's almost black.

Also, I connected through VGA output port the notebook with a desktop screen, and everything works perfect. I have a completely perfect image on the desktop screen.

There is no inverter cable to connect on the screen. The only cable that the user has to disconnect/connect on the screen is the 40-pin cable. I am very careful in disconnecting and connecting the 40-pin cable. Also, disassembling notebook, the inverter connector on mobo has no cable on it. The notebook screen is an LCD screen. So, we are talking about no inverter on the screen, that the user has to connect/reconnect.

And, now, the most important. Both disconnection of the original cracked screen, and connection of the new one, I made it with the laptop battery not disconnected. It was on the notebook. I believe that this caused the problem that I have to face now.

    Could you please help me?

    Thank you in advance !

First of all thank you for the answer.

Searching, I have also found the following:

Since, if I connect the laptop on a desktop monitor and the display comes up normally, can't it be the two monitors are destroyed? Isn't it possible both monitors been damaged and with a brand new monitor to be fine?

With all respect to your answer !

Your old and new LCD are not damaged.
It is somehow you handle the swapping LCD not correctly which caused the fuse is blown preventing LCD backlight from getting power supply.
Read the whole thread if you are still confusing.
