Mine feels a little loose and creaks when I press it around but it doesn't feel like it will snap off, I'm referring to the power socket on the left hand side of the laptop.

It moves a fair bit and feels like some of the soldering has broken off, but for the most part it feels largely secure, is the creaking and play normal?

Nice, 11 threads, you should probably get a new notebook if this one has a problem that bothers you soo much.
