Is it normal for there to be what looks like a line at the bottom of the screen on a Vaio F12

There is a feint bluey white line at the bottom of my screen, is this normal? I think that it is possibly caused by the backlight.

    could be the backlight.
if it doesn't bother you see how it goes, should be ok.

there was always a white line at the bottom of my FW's screen and never caused any problems.

That just looks like normal backlighting to me. My US version has much more bleed than that. I'd be thrilled if mine looked like yours. I wouldn't worry about it. :)

If I'd receive such a premium product with such crappy screen, I'd return it immediately.
I'm about to receive an F13 and I'll immediately return it in case of any minor flaw. Hell, you're getting a way better screen, without any blue light at the bottom, on any cheap laptop.
