I tried using SpeedFan but with no avail, and using VAIO Control Centre limits the processor speed.

What I want to do is to allow the processor and/or gpu to get hotter before having the fan ramp up its speed. Is that possible?

I think that it might be possible to control the fan speed with the software Notebook FanControl, which can be found here: [Vorstellung] NoteBook FanControl (NBFC) - ComputerBase Forum. I already tried to create a configuration for my S13P, but til now I was not able to find the right parameters. :-(

Has anyone sent a complaint directly to Sony? Cause this is their unfinished job.

I am fairly sure it's possible to control the fan to be honest, considering there is a stock program that came with the laptop to test the fan and ramp it all the way up.

However, when I tried to replicate that with SpeedFan, it can't seemed to be able to find the fan controller. Frankly, it might just be me being dumb lol, which is why I came here for help.

Really, I can cope with my GPU and CPU running at a constant 60C if that means the fan speed is kept at a bare minimum, or non at all. I game with headphones on, so the fan spinning at a higher rev doesn't bother me much.
