Sorry if this has been answered before. I did a search and came up empty.

I’m looking at possibly a black 13” Sony Vaio Z. I’m overall okay with the aesthetics of the design, but I don’t like the look of the giant chrome VAIO logo on the back. Has anyone ever removed this logo? If so, what does it look like underneath? Is there a black chrome version of this logo that can be used to replace the silver one?

The logo don't look removable from the lid BUT as it is not in relief you should be able to make up the lid with some laptop silicon skin (which would provide you protection against scratching the lid...)
