Is it possible to swap out SSD with standard 2.5" hard drive in the Vaio Z if it's configured with the optical drive + 128gb SSD?

I'm thinking of putting in a 640gb or 500gb. I know the Japan models can do this but they also get 1080p which we don't have as a CTO option :(

What the Japanese models have is no SSD and an HDD in place of the optical drive (so they lose CD/DVD as well).

Yea, I don't need an optical drive. I have one right now and probably use it 2-3x a year.

I stream all my video and it's been years since I've burned a DVDR. Everyone uses flash drives now. I'll just buy an ext one for OS install/recovery.

So, if the Vaio Z comes with the 1.8" SSD and optical drive, can we remove the optical drive and add in a standard 2.5" drive in its place? What about brackets? That would also leave a hole in the side, is there a cover for it?

Would we be able to run the 1.8" SSD + the 2.5" drive? That would be one sweet setup! I'd put OS + Apps on the SSD and all my data on the 2.5" drive.
