Curious if anyone bought a new SZ and have used the S series prior. Any opinions on upgrading from a vgn-s360P? The SZ worth the upgrade?

I bought the s360p extactly a year ago at $2,100 bucks. I use the laptop everyday at work.

As far as I know, SZ has almost no heat and noise issue. It depends on what you most concern for laptop. SZ has brighter screen and much faster (Core Duo) and lighter.

Funny thing is I'll be asking the same thing 12 months from now about the SZ. That is about an unwinnable battle as there is.

I had the S260 and loved it...however this is just another beast entirely! I have the SZ160 and it simply rocks...a big difference in performance, screen, sexiness - you name it. Check my posts - I'm a fan and glad I upgraded.

Sorry to tell you, your drooling over the SZ160 is justified :)
