What do you think is the possibility of basically a non-Atom X? An ~800g dual-core CULV/SL machine with 3G, min 128Gb SSD with 5-hour or better wifi ekeing runtime with replaceable cells?

Even though I have the Z, I still hanker after a true, and more useful, replacement to the UX - something which despite the compromises I used to carry around far more often than my ultraportables. And since going from 1.4Kg to 800g is as big a leap as going from the boat anchor 13-inch alu Macbook to the Z, I really, really, want a sub-Kg machine which does the daily basics, but isn't a crawly Atom.

    "1.4Kg to 800g"

It's not that much difference, really. I was carrying around one of the new X series for about 6 months and the new Z doesn't feel that much different.

I feel sorry for the people who have to lug around 2.5KG Dells! :D
