    Like, lets say.....
If i wanted ONLY 11 inch, it would only show
me TT and TZ (or more..... I dont know)

I know that sonystyle has similar option but it's too broad.
They categorize the inch by range.
    Like 11-14 inch
    or 14-15 inch

    I want a specific ones.
Reason is because my mum says that she loves my Vaio Z a LOT!
She wanted a 13.1 inch ones (Not too big, not too small either)

So i thought getting her one for christmas is a good idea.
But I don't wanna WHOOP another US$2200 for it :(

So yeah, it'll be great if I can find another laptop that's 13.1 inch.
Forget the title, doesn't have to be SONY! Can be other brand as well.
Of course, if the website you provide can also sort by other inch (not just 13.1 inch), that will be great as well ^_^

you can get a Z for about $1600 now...

The Sony SR is also a good one to look at.. It looks similar to the Z, and it's cheaper than the Z series even though it's just as powerful as a Z.

Those two are the only 2 13" Sony models right now

The Vaio Z is currently the only notebook with a 13.1" screen with 16:9 aspect ratio. There's a lot more 13.3" notebooks with 16:10 aspect ratio screens however.

You don't have to pay another $2200 for a Vaio Z, you could get one for hundreds cheaper though probably lower specs than your current one.

Dell has a new (to me, I never saw it before) laptop that's 13". It's the Inspiron 13, it seemed great to me. You can go from Pentium Dual-Sore 1.86 GHz to Core 2 Duo more-powerful-than-any-mother-needs :) IT starts at only $650

    LINKY!!!

    one problem though,
im in Jakarta Indonesia at the moment

There is a SONY showroom here that sells both Z and TT that just came out yesterday. The reason why I got the Z is because the TT they sell comes without the HDMI support. This angers me greatly as it seems like Sony's selling us the 'crappier' version here.

The Z remains the same though that's why I got it first.
I paid about US$2200 for the 2.40Ghz model with 4gb RAM
(Don't know if that's considered cheap or not)

And in here they threw in a free sony Mouse, sony laptop bag as well as an extra charger for jakarta power outlet.

I don't mind getting one from abroad if
    1st - it's cheaper
2nd - able to send to jakarta
3rd - official warranty from sony (hopefully sony indonesia)

Really? I could have sworn that all TT and Z models have an HDMI port, this TT model you have must be very low-end. My TZ was the lowest end model released in North America and one of the few models to lack the web-cam.
But to omit the HDMI port is disturbing to hear. I hope its a typo on the spec sheets or did you see the lack of the port in person?

i see the lack of the port IN PERSON
    It's like this

me: 'hey dad, yeah! this is the TT i'm talking about'
me: 'you see! it has the HDMI port right HERE!'

    *flick*

me: 'ummm, wait a minute! Hey you! This is Sony TT right?'
customer service: 'yes it is sir'
me: 'Where is the HDMI port then?'
me: 'Why is it a modem/ethernet port instead?'
customer service: 'i have no idea what you're talking about sir'

    so......... yeah -_-.
I didn't have a camera back then but I can always drop
in the shop and take a picture and show ya'all here~

Thats why before i got the Z, i checked the spec VERY VERY carefully
but thank god its the same as everywhere. Only different model name
    but that's small matter..... hopefully~

PS: Another disturbing fact is that another shop is selling a TT
model that has DDR2 instead of DDR3 ram -_-. I think it's a typo because
1st - i didnt went there personally to check
2nd - you have to like YANK OUT the ram part to check and i dont think any dealer would let you do that if your purpose is to 'see the laptop' in their showroom

Just a guess here, but the HDMI on the TT is probably under the hidden port cover on the side of the machine.

UPDATE: Yup, that's where it is.. silver port cover, left-hand side, near the hinge. Go and look, it's there.. and then school the salesperson. =)

    I saw it there.
    there's nothing there :(
They replaced it with Modem and Ethernet port
    (Had a look again today)

and i tried looking for it everywhere, there's no
sign of HDMI port at all :(

The part where there's supposed to be ethernet
and modem is left blank in the TT model sold in Jakarta
