    I have a Sony Vaio SB model VPCSB190X (i5 2410M 2.3GHz 4GB) with Win7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1.

From time to time (quite frequent indeed), after the start-up the keyboard operates with numeric functions instead of the usual alphanumeric functions, as if the NumLk key was pressed.

Then I press the NumLk key and the keyboard works again in the alphanumeric mode.

Any idea of why this happens?

Is there a way to disable the NumLk function to avoid this issue?
