I want to get sony laptop from retailer, but they don't provide any extended warranty.

so I was wondering if I can buy only sony laptop warranty.

    Thanks.

Yes. For example, Provantage sells the 3-year extended warranty with ADH and others if you click the "Related" tab. To get the best prices, you can shop around by searching for the warranties by product code, like VGP3SYLPAD.

Note: You can only get warranties with ADH within 30 days of purchase. Extended warranties without ADH can be bought as long as you still have a month or possibly 60 days left in your original 1-year warranty.

Im wondering if there is a ADH warranty with Vaios in Australia? We only seem to have Extended Warranty for 3 yrs, but I dont think it covers ADH.

Does any one know any other types of insurance or warranty that I can purchase in Australia? I just bought a Vaio TZ and eagerly awaiting delivery on monday :D ( I didnt like the look of the TT)

    Hi,

I know here in the UK you can get a Sony warranty from online retailers, if you do a search in google such as enter product number which you can get from sony website (number they use to identify the product) you probably will find somewhere. Not ever seen them in the stores thou.

    regards,
    Mathew

I think all we have here in Australia is a 3yr extended warranty. I wish we have something like the Provantage mentioned by lattice. The only way to get ADH is get home and content insurance with the house. What a bummer.
