    I wanted to check because when I used the Corsair configurator search ( http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/configurator_search.html)

    It said I needed the CMSS1GB-533SOD.

    Is that the same thing? or the highest quality RAM supported? I don't understand such intense jargon. :S

    ram can run at slower frequencies without problems so you can plug in a 400mhz ram into a 333mhz slot and it will still do fine (they dont sell 266 SO DIMMs these days so i had to buy a 333 to replace a screwed 266 in my old laptop)
