Hi guys, this is coming from a total rookie here so please bear with me. I'm looking at replacing my desktop Dell computer with a Sony VAIO VPCEC290X.
It includes:
Intel core i3 processor
Adobe Bundle
500GB hard drive
cd/dvd drive
4GB DDR3-SDRAM-1066
Microsoft Office 2010 starter
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
and a 2 year express ship service plan for notebooks ($250)
It has a 17" monitor.
Total cost from Sonystyle.com, was $1050
This laptop is just for my wife and I so I would greatly appreciate your advice if you feel this is a good deal or not. The laptop would primarily be used for music, photos, web searches and e-mail... Are there things I diffinitely should get that I do not have listed or is anything listed above that may be overkill?
I would really like to hear your opinions on the extended warranty and the
17" monitor as I had heard that the resolution was not that great on the larger size screens. If this is the wrong place to post this message I do indeed apologize. Many thanks for your time, Ken.
