Is this a viable option for an SZ680 clean install?

I read this in the microsoft website:

"A clean install means your current version of Windows, including all of your files, settings, and programs, is automatically replaced. You can back up your files and settings, but must manually reinstall your programs when the installation is done."

Does this apply to my SZ that comes with business and I update to Ultimate. That would be great since I am planning to do that and all the drivers are already on sony's website.

    Has anyone tried this?

I also found this so maybe business to ultimate doesn't give you the clean install option

    Clean install = everything gone.
Make restore discs and copy swsetup before you do a clean install.

I will do burn recovery DVD's just in case, but I was wondering if anyone has done this upgrade and wether they were presented with the clean install option. Thanks Lithus for your input
