I just got the Sony Vaio Z13 and when I watch videos (noticed it on hd youtube videos and hulu) I see moire/tiny dot patterns for a split second while the videos moving/changing scenes. Is this normal? fixable?

Depending on how, exactly, it appears, it is probably normal. The display is a 6-bit TN display that uses dithering to display certain hues it can't display otherwise.

Nobody else seems to notice this/have this issue? I noticed it on an ad too while browsing the net. Possible that the screen or video card is bad?
