Awesome, and with the 10 dollar Google checkout discount even better. I was ready to pay someone on eBay 60 dollars, thank you for the link!

Sorry for my quick haste in blaming P1 on the IE flash problem but of course, the culprit is again Microsoft. Though it seems odd that IE with flash worked out of the box but not with the P1 image.

    Problem fixed.

    Open this folder:
    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

    Click on this app:
    FlashUtil9d.exe.

Download the "new" version of flash.

    Reboot

Now all websites should recognize your flash. I am not what the problem was but whatever. For all you curious folks, I have to use IE because I have become addicted to using the "web assistant" function on my SZ6.

What? Where do you see any thing that indicates that this is Microsoft's fault?

Your interpretation of that article is just a bit odd. I read it that Microsoft and Adobe both know of SOME issue but then the article goes on to say the problem they were having was with a particular plugin. So how exactly does that relate to the issue at had HERE?

    Gary,

Hi. Maybe I should have made my original post clearer. The point of the linked article was to expunge the blame that I mistakenly had put on P1 and not shift the blame to Microsoft.

That aside, the plug-in they mentioned is not the problem as others who do not have have experience similar difficulties. But it was probably my natural instinct to blame Microsoft for everything. Did you know that global warming is also their fault. :)

But I can care less because the problem is fixed and I can start watching LOST again. Gotta catch up before.

Well you certainly DID shift the blame to Microsoft. But it's water over the dam now.
