How do I fix this? Im sure this is a fairly common thing. Im typing and out of nowhere the cursor will occasionally just jump somewhere else. Its very annoying.

make sure you don't touch the trackpad.

there's also an option to disable the trackpad when the keyboard is in use

If you didn't change the installation files location go to (this is for my SZ)
    C:\Program Files\Sony\Setting Utility Series
    find
    VCCPointingDevice.exe
To disable touch pad double click on it and untick the enable box then ok and warning message will appear and click yes to disable touch pad. Just make sure you keep a wired mouse in case of emergency.

    Sweet thanks ^

Though I still dont think its a mousepad issue, since i never use it or accidentally rub over it anyways. But i did it. hopefully this will fix it.

I am having the same problem. Only happens when I am typing an email or an IM on windows live messenger. It will sometimes send the email in the middle of typing.
