sorry for this silly questions, i just wanna make sure it, living in new york city and gonna order one from Amazon.com( i prefer J&R, but due to the tax issue can't do business with them).

    1. what is the big different between the sz650 and 660, which model is worth your every penny?

    2. All SZ6 series come with Premium Carbon Fiber Casing? how about sz650 and 660? they both carry the Carbon Fiber Casing?

    thanks for your reply.

    Question 1

The difference between 650 and 660 is 660 the "Cingular Wireless National EDGE Network with SmartWi™ technology". The built in EDGE only works with Cingular.

    Question 2

SZ650 and 660 use the same Carbon Fiber Casing.

Where are you getting that information from? The only WWAN I can find mentioned for the 660 is Sprint EV-DO. Besides, wouldn't it be AT&T HSDPA, rather than Cingular EDGE (hoping )?

    Oops my bad

Very sorry! I look at the wrong spec. I took that off SZ47x

    SZ660

The VAIO® SZ Premium Notebook delivers premium portability, including integrated wireless Wide Area Network (WAN)19 technology. With integrated WWAN19, you can access the Sprint® mobile broadband network18 to extend your wireless coverage beyond LAN access networks and wireless hotspots. Now you have the freedom to go farther, do more, and stay connected.

SZ650 does not have the Sprint thing!

    My bad! Sorry!
