I just finished purchasing a Sony VAIO TZ with some accessories. They are on its waySurprisingly, it turns out the newest VAIO ultra portable is much cheaper than I thought. You just have to shop around... lol
- Sony VAIO VGN-TZ150N/B retail $2099 paid $1650
- 2GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM paid $58
- VGP-CKTZ2/B leather case retail $149 paid $54
The TZ was bought from an eBay power seller with 3000+ positive feedback. Memory from newegg and leather case from Clearance club. Both the laptop and memory are new in sealed box. The leather case is marked as recertified from Sony.
Now, I am debating whether to buy the Sandisk 32GB SSD from dvnation for $599 or not... um

Grr, I'm jealous, thats a really good deal you got!
-
That is a great deal. Congratulations!
-
too good a deal.
How can a buyer tell if a product is refurbish but was told its new? -
Call Sony? Actually try not to call Sony for anything. I've heard they're incompetent. If it's new it will be in new packaging with individually wrapped accessories, right?
Unboxing the Sony Vaio TZ -

I am curious regarding the profit markup on these TZs. How some seller are able to sell a MRSP $2099 item for $1650 and still make a profit.
-
Definitely a great deal, now aren't you glad I didn't have a TZ for you
BTW what is the link to the RAM you purchased on Newegg, I cannot find a single 2GB that cheap. I believe the TZ only has one memory slot. -
here is the link to 200pin DDR2 2gb memory
