    Hey guys just got my new Sony FZ290 CTO. Planning on doing the semi clean install tomorrow. Any suggestions?

    You can either do a clean install, or a not-clean install. There's no middle ground, just like how you can't dig half a hole.

    But Chuck Norris can.

    Correct me if I am mistaken but is there not a whole like hundred page thread on this same sony forum to do a semi clean install????

    That guide falls under "not-clean" install, as all you're doing is stopping the bloatware installation process of the recovery partition, and failing to catch all of the installs.

    and its also why its called a semi-clean install...cos its not 100% clean, but its also not filled with all the bloatware that was originally on it. So therefor its a semi-clean install, but you as you say you could also call it a "not-clean" install, because its not 100% clean...
