    VGN-G2KANA w/ C2D 1.2 80G DVD Vista for roughly CDN$1900.
    And I feel the need to rant on here a little about their excellent service and my overall pleasant experience ordering. They replied to emails promptly (almost immediately), and shipped the item off without much delay, which arrived at my doorstep a lot earlier than expected.
    Another thing that's quicker than expected is the bootup time. I was expecting the horrible 4 minute wait time I had read somewhere, but it's definitely MUCH faster than that. As the laptop came with English vista, I expect they had to reformat everything and therefore removing any preloaded software(s). Drivers, however, are carefully installed and calibrated, which allows all the bells and whistles to work smoothly. Overall, I'm very impressed with the attention to detail and the thoughtful service they provided, which paralleled these same qualities in the machine itself. Highly recommended!

    Enjoy! Are there any obvious external changes compared with he G11 I reviewed?

    The 2 cores should make the computer more responsive than my G11 but I wonder how much the C2D hits the battery life under light usage.
