Just got this thing today. Installed an ssd and windows all is good. One problem is it keeps telling me my battery is not compatible or not properly connected and that the unit is going to hibernate and I should re-seat the battery. Which I have obviously done 50 times. All drivers are installed, no unknown devices, all sony crappy utilities are installed. Here is the thing though, it doesnt give me the error in safe mode so I know its not a hardware issue. Bios version 2086 (newest I think). Any ideas? Anything at all will be better than the Philippino guy and his flow chart I got this afternoon.

This issue has been popping up for some people on the Vaio SA/SB/SC/SD owners thread. Ask around there, otherwise, this thread might get buring in the CES excitement.

install Vaio Control Center for that. It will also give you the backlit KB control options (along with a few battery options).
Enjoy! -
I have it installed but doesn't seem to be doing anything...
