I have a Sony Vaio VPCEB33FM. When I turned on my computer today, I realized some of the keys weren't working such as the shift, backspace, "P", and most of the number keys! I have to use an onscreen keyboard just to offset the disability, which is annoying and tedious. I noticed something strange about the crippled keys, that whenever I attempt to press them the green light of the power indicator would fade away and when I released the keys the green light would illuminate itself again. I have a hunch that this problem could be due to my being a messy eater while I watch movies or videos on my laptop. What exactly is causing this problem and can I just send me laptop to a computer repair shop and have them clean it or do I really have to replace it or worse?
